What is Kombucha?
Twilight Kombucha starts with a blend of organic black and green tea. The tea is then steeped and organic cane sugar is added to create a sweet tea.
After the tea is cooled, a symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast (or, SCOBY) is introduced to help the sweetened tea begin its fermented and cultured journey to becoming Kombucha!
Along its 30 day journey it will be nurtured by millions of living cells to help create a symbiosis of nutritious fuel to help heal your gut and restore balance within your body.

Everyday our bodies, and especially our digestive systems, are destroyed by chemicals, pesticides, and overly processed foods. Kombucha may help restore our natural balance, which can help with digestion, inflammation, mood and so much more.

What is Reiki Infused?

Reiki is a practice of healing and focused intention that specifically aids in allowing energy to flow at its highest level.
So when you have living cells vibrating at their highest level it creates this harmony within those cells, to help restore balance within our bodies
Reiki can infuse into ANY living cell, so of course it works with Kombucha because, YES, IT IS ALIVE!

THE STORY

Brewin' up my very first commerical batch!
Hey! I'm Shawn!
I am the owner and brewer at Twilight Kombucha!​
​
I began my journey with Kombucha in 2015 when a bottle of GT's Gingerade made its way into my hands the morning after a "beer-cation" hangover.
​
I had, at this point, been a homebrewer and craft beer fan for years, yet I had never heard of Kombucha. I quickly became fascinated about what this tangy-tart fizzy beverage actually was.
​
I discovered, soon after, that it made me feel really good, gave me tons of natural energy (also, cured my hangover) and even began helping my chronic digestive issues!
​
After that day I became a regular consumer and soon after I decided to try to brew my own.
​
My journey into believing I can own and operate a brewery took a long 7 years though. I started on the road to success but ended up detouring through so many obstacles of self-doubt, limiting beliefs and self-sabotage.
​
My detour, though, helped me create what I now call Twilight Kombucha!
​
I call it "Twilight" to represent the space between the middle of light and darkness. It's when you're on the edge of falling back into old habits or deciding whether to wander into the unknown.
During my 7 years of wandering I became a reiki master, a meditation teacher, a yoga teacher and a certified life coach, all of which I continue to practice...
​
I would not be writing these words, right now, if it weren't for these practices and a strong trust in myself. This trust didn't happen overnight and it's a practice everyday to keep it going.
Everyday we choose to wander into the "Twilight" or keep safe in that familiar darkness.
